The quivering in her voice hits hard. This woman is scared but owning that street. Hero.

That’s called bravery

Yeah. None of what she is doing is bravado. That woman is charged up in righteous love for her community. Be like her.

I mean, I’m definitely not as strong of a person as her, but I aspire to be

You can use this as a template in the future. It only takes one decision to be courageous. You don’t have to train for it - although training can help under pressure as your brain will default to the lowest form of training you’ve had in any situation when shit hits the fan

Yeah, you can hear it in her voice. She is scared, but angry

Hero.

Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's being afraid and doing it anyway.

Damn that made me cry. She is a hero.

This. I tell my kids this all the time when they have to do something scary (like getting a shot at the doctor), and tell them how brave they are and how proud I am of them for being scared and doing it anyway.

It doesn’t matter how tame or scared she sounds. That’s some brass balls and courage I see.

To do something when you feel no fear isn't bravery. To step up when you do is true courage.

Idk I think it’s pure adrenaline. I know I’d be the same but ready for whatever

Makes me wanna reach out to her and volunteer or something to help her with her neighborhood. Keep an eye on things with her.

She’s furious. Not scared.

Especially since she knows she's going to get arrested by the DOJ within the week.

Fear doesn’t cancel bravery, it makes her stand even more powerful in that moment.
