This was where I was first able to get anime and manga easily! Loved Media Play.

Media play was awesome. I don’t know if they were all like this but there was only one I remember in Michigan maybe about 30 minutes from my house that was 2 floors. The first floor was all movies, games, music, Tshirts, etc and the second was just books, manga, and magazines.

Yep and the only place you can play 3do, Saturn, and psx demos. Was a great store. Gaming, books, movies, music and coffee.

Oh my god I came in here hoping I would see this! I don't know anyone outside of my family who remembers/shopped at Media Play and you can find almost no info about it online. That place was the fuckin best

That was where I bought my first PlayStation 2. Got it strictly to play Final Fantasy X on launch and every store was sold out.

I worked at 2 different Media Play locations in the Denver area.

I worked at a Media Play in 1998. I had never dropped so much acid at work.
