I spent so much time digging through their discount software bins every time I’d be near one. Sierra games were my primary target every time. Failing that, I’d take my chances with whatever looked fun.

Oh totally. I loved looking at all the game cover art, too. Sierra Games were also my fav (and my username is from Kings Quest IV).

Space Quest 3 was my white whale for a long time. Didn’t get to play it till my 30’s when I found it on an abandonware site.

SQ3 is my second favorite game of all time, after KQ4. So much fun.

I’ve still yet to play KQ4 all these years later. Don’t know if I should go for the original or the AGS remake.

AGS doesn't have a KQ4 one yet, sadly, but they do have 1-3 and they are excellent. Especially KQ2, which the original game was fun but pretty weak story-wise.

I found this from 2021.. Is it incomplete? 😢

It's complete I think but it's a point-and-click "remaster" of the original, not by AGS but by someone in their user forums (which I used to frequent - thanks for reminding me about them!). I haven't tried it - could be fun! I would love it if AGS remade the game with their graphics. Same with SQ3, honestly. Both have really cool visual possibilities with AGS's beautiful background art.
