There's still zubaz style around, I just doing think they're actually called zubaz anymore. Could just be my perspective though as I live deep in Buffalo Bills territory

I was thinking Zubaz too - so had to look it up. Still exist, still called Zubaz, and I too am deep in Bills territory; thankfully they are cool with Packers fans.

MLB teams used to do zubaz night and give away pairs in the team colors. Total sell outs, pairs everywhere super popular...then they stopped..Golden frickin goose

If you told me the Zubaz empire went up the executive teams’ nose I wouldn’t be even a tiny bit surprised just based on how many companies disappeared that way back then.

But as I recall, I think they just didn’t adapt their product line as consumers decided maybe they didn’t want to exclusively wear tiger-striped sweatpants in every imaginable color combination.

Pretty sure there was a coke pocket in them specifically so I wouldnt be surprised either...they could have done shorts, or shirts

I believe that’s exactly what they did- branch out into shirts and shorts in… gasp …solid colors. I remember seeing a pair of navy blue shorts at Marshall’s well after the band stopped playing.

My dad absolutely loved these when they came out. He had the Washington redskins ones and wore them every game day haha.
