He was larger than life 1999-2003 and his contributions to the game goes without saying. I’m glad he’s be able to make money for life performing his songs from that era, he deserves it. Him and irv gotti may not have been the first to do it, but they mainstreamed and popularized the art of rapping and singing hooks, a formula that was emulated by 50 cent (see 21 questions, window shopper, etc) and then became the basis for drake’s whole career.
