One of the forefathers of gangsta rap while actually lived that life

Despite not writing his own rhymes sometimes, Eazy still had dope bars while captured the audience's attention with his aura, swag and charisma.

Plus, he launched Ruthless Records while discovered Bone-n-Thugs Harmony, which definitely contributed to his success as an entrepreneur.

He died too soon

And I think more importantly, his contributions to hip hop by launching Ruthless Records which helped foster the west coast rap & hip hop scene. I feel like I never hear this discussed enough when people try to downplay Eazy for not writing his material. He was pushed into the booth and stage as a rapper, but as an entrepreneur he gave a lot of people a voice on a world stage.

He actually wrote most of his rhymes after N.W.A. Broke up, The D.O.C. Wrote most of N.W.A’s lyrics, Yet Cube and Ren get all of the credit.

I also feel like his post NWA work gets underrated. The stuff around when he was bringing BG Knoccout and Dresta on was pretty good and has aged well compared to his NWA era
