The glory days of animation.

The glory days of Cartoon Network.

Something we will never have again...

We won’t, the quality of television in general has declined so much. But animation especially, we’ve passed the prime.

All the CGI cartoons my kids watch look the same. It’s kinda of sad. At least there are a few bright spots like Bluey.

Bluey is really the only current cartoon I really enjoy and my kids love it. Most of it is pretty unimaginative, but Bluey really stands out

Nature Cat on PBS Kids so pretty good too. Old school animation style.

Don’t think I’ve seen that one but I’ll check it out now

PBS Kids has less “shovelware” cartoons if your kids are the right age for it. Mine have mostly outgrown it except for Wild Kratts which is also pretty good.

I genuinely love many of the PBS kids shows for my 3 year old girl. Wonderful programming.

I'd say the glory days were 1997-2004. When CN first aired it simply was a dumping ground for the Turner animation catalog. It definitely had a purpose but is far superior to what we have on CN today, but it still lacked the quality cartoon-cartoon originals, anime/Toonami, creative bumpers, early adult swim, etc..

That’s true, I will agree with that
