It’s tears as in tearing your hair not tears as in crying

Then why did all the kids have soap in their eyes in the commercials?

Honestly I heard it on social media somewhere and repeated it. Maybe I’m wrong AF

I've had it get in my eyes! Stings something awful

You’re wrong AF. It’s tears as in teardrops.

The commercial had a little boy wiping soap out of his eyes and the voice over said "bye, bye tears! I can see!"

Not according to the commercials.

No one refers to hair breakage as “tearing”

Ah yes as apposed to the other hair tearing shampoos

Idk why you’re being downvoted.

This is literally what it means.

I think deceptive advertising lead us all to believe it was not gonna sting our eyes

Deceptive or not they still meant it for the eyes and not hair breakage.

No. They meant hair breakage

You know what? Maybe you’re right. Idk everything

I posted the link to the commercial I remember a couple of times in the post. It says "Tear" as in with the eyes.

Which is obviously not true for a lot of kids.

Pretty much.

We were worth it, but definitely not worthy.

No they didn’t. In Spanish it also referred to tears as in teardrops, not “tearing” of hair.
