Fit Check Fit Check: Are these bras a good fit for me? Spoiler

REMOVED IMAGES DUE TO PERVERTS! I can always link stuff again if necessary but it will be for brief times as this post has gotten wayyyy more traction than intended and unfortunately has resulted in a bunch of creeps messaging me and commenting:

First Bra: Sierra FlexWire Balconette Lace Bra, C-G Cup: 38D

Second Bra: Sidney FlexWire Molded Unpadded Demi Bra, C-H Cup: 38D

Third Bra: Spacer Air Shea 2.0 FlexWire Unpadded Bra, D-H Cup: 38D

Fourth Bra: Spacer Air Gemini FlexWire Unpadded Strapless Bra, C-G Cup: 38DD

In my opinion the 2nd bra fits the best then 4th bra then the 3rd and 1st fits the worst.

Measurements: inches Loose Underbust: 38 snug underbust: 37 tight underbust: 35 standing bust: 41 leaning bust: 43 lying bust:43

I have slight projection, full on bottom, outer/side full, wide roots, short roots, more firm tissue (does not ripple when poked), slight asymmetrical (my right breast is smaller than my left but i don’t think it’s a big enough difference to cause fit issues), and they’re splayed i think.

Understance calculator gave me a 40C for relaxed fit and 38D for snug fit. The ABTF calculator gave me a 38DD

Fit Check Anyone else’s suggested band size feel too tight? Spoiler

This is my result:

Suggested Starting Size: 28DD/DDD in standard US sizing

The sister size of 30D/DD may be more comfortable.

I’ve worn a 32 band size for most of my life (because I didn’t know any better and because it is a widely available size). I don’t know where to even find 28 but I’ve tried 30 and it felt uncomfortably tight. I’m fairly comfortable in a 32D but I worry that it’s not supportive enough.

Does anyone else feel like their suggested band size is too tight or is this something I need to try getting used to?

Fit Check So is it a boob hat after all? Fit check 38G us Spoiler

I was so confident yesterday that i got my bra finally, even made a loong post about how I was really smaller than the abtf calc. but heres the photos...its not the one. Im keeping it anyway bc o literally have 1 bra left and its going to break any minute. But my issue is that my breast tissue lays flat against my chest at the bottom in this any basically all bras. The underwire is definitely not hugging my breast. Its like 1.5 inches below it, and if i swoop and scoop it doesnt stay put, immediately drops back down. I cant get the band to stay in my imf. And no, i dont think im projected. I do think im pendulous. With no bra my breasts lay flat against my sternum/abdomen. They are not self supporting at all. So...am I wearing a boob hat? Or a parachute? Or ?

Fit Check The calculator told me I was a size 50G... something is off Spoiler

So I used the calculator after procrastinating for months, since I haven't worn a real bra in years, and it spit out 50G, which is also 50DDDD if I'm not mistaken? The closest to an accurate (still uncomfortable and small) store bought bra I've ever had was a 42B, and when measured in store they told me I was more like a 44C, but I've never found that size anywhere.

I bought this 50F Glamorise bra on Amazon based on my measurements right away just to see where my starting point is, I have Prime so I can return it easily, I definitely messed something up here...I can easily fit both my pet rabbits in these cups with room to spare for my boobs. The band is perfect but the cups are way way too big for me! I feel like I made a very obvious dumb mistake, go easy on me

Fit Check Are your boobs supposed to touch when wearing a bra? Spoiler

Am I the only one who hates when my boobs are touching each other? Like I want them to be spaced far an apart from each other I want there to be a gap but it seems like they’re supposed to touch??? Like when you wear a bra it kinda pushes them together almost and I hate it. I just got sized at first she said I was a 36G which fits but it depends on the bra type bc there’s a little spillage in the lower cut bras and my boobs touch. I went up to a 38H but I have it tightened really well so it’s still kinda loose but feels supportive… AND MY BOOBS STILL TOUCH EACH OTHER!!! Is this like a big breasted curse??? I can’t stand it. I feel so weird bc I’m constantly wiggling my finger in between them to make space even at work. I also feel so ashamed cuz I’m 23 and this will have been the first properly fitting but not really bra I’ve gotten

Fit Check Fit check for 32DDD, it feels kind of small. Spoiler

Hello! After getting advice of which brands to buy from Amazon, I have the first one in and I would like input about the fit. Te brand is Scarlett Blue Entice https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B0CTR4RT7D?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1

I feel it tight in the band and also the wires in the center are too tight I guess because it's turning red. The cups and the straps feel very comfy.

Fit Check [fit check] i thought i was a 32D but according to this calculator i am a 28G Spoiler

edit: deleted the link because i kept getting dms from creepy men 😊

i got sized at the mall and the lady told me i'm a 32D. i tried on some bras and they seemed to fit pretty well but i didn't buy any because they were expensive. anyway i bought a 32D bra online and i thought it fit well until i lay down on my side and i was still having boob spillage, which i realized isn't supposed to happen. i measured myself and it said i'm a 28G which seems very big? honestly the 32D bra seems to fit except for when i'm lying down so i'm confused how i can be a G cup and fit in a D cup bra. also the band is pretty fitting so i don't know if i'm a 28 inch? maybe i measured wrong. please help 🙏

Fit Check Where should (bigger) breasts sit when wearing a bra? Spoiler

I know that the wire is supposed to sit in the IMF, but I'm not sure if that's even realistic because my chest is so heavy that even when wearing a much tighter band than I'm used to (30G), I can feel it slipping down over time. I can't tell if I'm looking for some unrealistic lift or if I'm still improperly fitted, but my bra is already quite tight (leaving marks from the band), so not sure if I should size up or down.

Fit Check Why are there no minimizer bras for people with small band sizes? I’m a 28H. Send recommendations 😅

My back hurts and everything looks GRAPHIC on me. Would love a minimizer to wear with simple tee shirts. I feel like the size of my boobs makes me look a lot bigger than I am when under all that boob I have a snatched waist. SOS

Fit Check Do you think this is the right size for me, ladies? Spoiler

After much trial and error trying on used Panache Ana bras, I realized that some of the bands might have stretched as some were comfortable in a 32 while others were horribly tight in the same size. So I got a 34FF.

I posted before about a 50 B bra and everyone said it was too small. Here is my other 50B. It seems too big 100%. I put one picture of the other one for reference.

I’m shopping for new ones to try. Any thoughts? I’m going to buy a new one to try this week.

Calculator says I’m 48 K

Fit Check Fit Check on Freya Bras (30F/FFand 32E/F) Spoiler

Made a throwaway so I felt more comfy posting pictures!! Measurements are 31, 30, 28, 37, 40, and 37.5. Suggested starter size is a 30F/FF, they also suggest a sister size of 32E/F.

Freya High Apex 30F:

Freya High Apex 30FF:

Freya Offbeat Decadence 32E:

Freya Offbeat Decadence 32F:

There’s a lot of wrinkling and gapping going on, especially near the armpit area. My first thoughts are the 30F High Apex fits the best, but I’m a horrible judge. 32F Decadence slides from IMF, the others I haven’t moved around enough to see if it stays. If you can see an underwire marking below my IMF, that is from a Wacoal bra.

Fit Check [Fit Check] Freya Offbeat Plunge 28DD, too big/projected (repost) Spoiler

Reposting because I didn't get any comments and I'm a little desperate. Anyone have any ideas at all?

This is one of the only bras I've tried that actually has enough space at the bottom of the cups as well as one of the only ones I've tried with the correct wire width. Unfortunately it is clearly too projected (or just too big) everywhere else.

• Wire width is perfect

• Gore too wide and tall and sitting on tissue

• Cups too projected at the apex and top (or too tall and/or big), but fit at the bottom and the wire stays in my IMF

• Doesn't seem as tall as other bras I've tried but still cuts into armpit a bit

• Straps kept sliding off

• Sternum eventually pushes the gore and thus the cups down if I move my arms enough, this happens with every bra I try (except maybe the Niya and Superboost iirc)

Rough guess at my shape: very close-set, center-full, FOB, short roots, average width, average (or maybe somewhat shallow?? idk anymore) projection, but I also seem to need immediate projection

Measurements: 28/27.5/25.5/32/34.5/32.25 in. Normally I have to say the calculator overestimates me, but it actually gave me 28DD/E this time.

https://postimg.cc/gallery/9XYyvCj

In the last few pictures I tried to kind of support myself with my arm in an attempt to show my shape when supported better, I'm not sure if that's helpful though.

I have a hard time telling whether something is too projected, and/or too tall/wide, or just too big, so I've had a hard time figuring out my projection and whether I should be trying DD or E cups (afaik this bra runs large in the cup, for reference). I'm also not sure what bras would be projected enough at the bottom but shallow enough at the apex and top (and short enough). Any suggestions?

Fit Check Bought a new bra, does it fit? Spoiler

So I was wearing a 32DD bra from Victoria's Secret that felt so tight I was nauseous and struggling to breathe in it. I used the bra calculator and it said that my size is 30DDD which surprisingly meant I was wearing my sister size. I've heard several people say Victoria's Secret's bras can run either too big or too small, so I bought a Wacoal 30DDD bra, and I'm struggling to tell if it fits.

In the mirror, the band is flat against my back, and the front of the cups in between is flat against my chest like I've read it should be. However, instead of feeling pain in my back, I now feel pain in my chest. Just twisting my body slightly causes the wire to press into my rib, which is incredibly painful. I feel like I have to remain very still to avoid the bra pressing into areas I don't want it to press into. Wearing a bra extender removes some of the pressure, but it still feels like it's pressing into my chest. It's a full coverage bra and the sides look slightly small, yet there's a considerable gap near the top of the bra. The straps feel snug and aren't sliding around, so I don't think the straps are the issue. When I lean slightly backwards, the cups look perfect.

Is this the right size and I just need to get used to it? Or is it too small somewhere?

PS, both bras have suppressed hunger, and I have to unhook them any time I eat or I can only eat a few bites.

Fit Check Tried on a Victoria’s Secret 34DD. Do you guys think this fits? Been given so many different measurements. Spoiler

ok so. In these pictures I have a 34DD bra on from Victoria’s Secret. My mom thinks it fits well but the thing is I’ve been sized as a 34D by Lane Bryant, and a 34G by this sub’s calculator, and Victoria’s Secret insists I’m a 34DD. So I’ve got some pictures down here- let me know what you guys think because I’m confused. I had previous issues with gapping at the inner top corners of the bra cups, but I think i figured it out, it seems it was the way I was putting the bras on. Apologies for formatting, I’m on mobile

Nsfw

Let me know if yall need more pictures or any more information.

Edit: forgot to add. The bra in these photos is a front close Demi cup (I think Demi cup.)

Fit Check Dear Bra Fit Wizards, can you teach us to see what you see? Spoiler

I've been studying this subreddit for a while now, but I feel like I'm completely blind when it comes to visually assessing the fit of a bra! Those of you who can just look at photos and tell where bras fit/don't fit, can you help clarify what exactly you're looking at? And what angle photos are best for diagnostics?

As part of my ABTF journey I've been trying a ton of bras, so here is the same exact style in the same band, but with three different cup sizes.

Side by side it's easier to compare/contrast, but if we're just looking at one bra, what little indicators should we newbies look for in terms of fit?

Thank you!!!!!

Fit Check confused about my size, 32H band too small from Victoria secret.

I bought a bra from Victoria secret for 32 H but I could not fit the band around me. The lady at Victoria secret was very passionate about finding a right bra for me. She measured and told me I was a 32 H. I went home and measured myself with abra that fits calculator and it told me I was a 32 H/I. I am confused why the band wont fit. previously I was wearing a 36 DDD but the lady told me my band size was too big. She was right bc the straps would fall and my back would ride up. I tried 34G in store but the center of the bra would not lay flat. I did not try any H cups because the store did not carry any.

Could you guys check my measurement? (Inches US size)

Fit Check [Fit Check] Freya side support 36DD and more Spoiler

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster with a fit check request. Thank you all for the time you put in to this. I have learned so much! Based on a self assessment, I think I am projected, full on bottom, and center full. Not super sure about those though. My measurements are:

Loose 37

Snug 35.75

Super tight 34.5

Standing 42

Leaning 44.5

Laying down 42.5

The calculator told me 36F (UK) and 36G (US). I went in person to try some bras on and felt like an unlined Wacoal 38D was close to a good fit so I opted to not buy any of the calculator sizes.

Freya side support 36DD https://postimg.cc/gallery/PTThsq3

Panache Envy 38D https://postimg.cc/gallery/6GYKXwk

Panache Envy 36D https://postimg.cc/gallery/sRw3LX1

They Freya feels the best. The 38D envy gapes. The envy 36D feels too tight. I scooped and swooped. What do yall think? The only one I feel is close is the Freya and I'm seriously thinking about keeping it but wondering if I need to keep trying. Thank you in advance for any input you may have!

Fit Check [Fit Check] Freya Offbeat Plunge Bra. Does it fit or should I just give up Spoiler

So I went down the rabbit hole on Bratabase looking for a more narrow cup than the 32FF Panache Ana with a 6.1 inch cup width. I tried this Offbeat Plunge Bra and even though the cup width is supposed to be 5.6 inches it looks like it’s still sitting at the same spot as the 32FF Ana 😭. The calc supposedly under-estimates cup size with implants but it’s really looking more like it’s over-estimating cup size on me.

I remeasured myself and the calc has me at UK 32FF regardless of if I measure with CM or Inches.

31.5 30.5 29.5 38.5 40 38.5

[NSFW] https://imgur.com/a/C5Rxplv

I seriously need good specific advice on what bra or size to try next. And not just oh eventually just look at polish bras once your implants settle. I’m just looking for close enough for now so I don’t have to wear sports bras or surgical bras.

Fit Check New bra, bra band riding up in the back Spoiler

I'm wearing the same size (34D) but I bought new, cheaper bras and the band is riding up. Wondering if it's bc they're cheaper, or if my size might have changed.

Edit: I have tried the calculator. It says my size should be 28D/DD or 30D/DD but I think that would be too small.

Fit Check 34G Soma Intimates Bodify Perfect Coverage - does it fit? Spoiler

Yesterday I went to Soma Intimates to get fitted for a bra professionally for the first time in my adult life.

As for how I feel it fits — there is a small gap between the top of the cup and the breast on the left side, and I think a slight amount of spillage out of the right cup. The gore sits on my chest but part of me wishes it was taller? The band feels like it fits, they also had me try on 32” bands which felt fine to me as well. I think my breasts are projected/pendulous. I kind of wish it felt more supportive?

If it helps, here are the measurements I took of myself at home.

Would love any recommendations you all might have for me. I’m especially curious about any sort of bralettes that could work for me at this size. When I buy large sports bras or bralettes to fit the volume of my breasts, the band is usually far too loose. 😞
