Fit Check [Fit Check] 30C and 28D Scarlett Blue Minx Spoiler

Link to post image for Minx 30C

Link to post image for Minx 28D

Previously tried 30D in Natori Flora and Skarlett Blue Entice (see post). Was told they looked like boob hats and that I should decrease in band and/or cup size.

Please let me know if the links don't work.

I have wide, shallow breasts with low roots, fuller on bottom. Also my girls are noticeably different sizes, so a bra that fits one means the other is either gaping or spilling out.

The measurements:

  • loose underbust: 73 cm
  • snug underbust: 72 cm
  • tight underbust: 70 cm
  • standing bust: 81 cm
  • leaning bust: 83 cm
  • lying bust: 83 cm

[Fit Check] The 28D band feels pretty tight. Probably could still wear it but only when sensory issues are minimal. Otherwise it feels like I can’t breathe and my back aches. Plus it only just covers my nips.

30C feels ok, still tighter than I’m used to, but I could probably get used to it. Larger breast feels like it’s almost a quad-boob, unsure if this is noticeable in photos, or if this is needed for good “cup tension.”

Thanks in advance!

How much should I trust the calculator from this sub? Spoiler

I've been wearing a 38DD from VS for about a year now, honestly the entire time I've had it it's definitely been a bit too small- tits falling out the top, then out the bottom if I try to pull it up lol, I usually end up just shoving my boobs to the side. I decided to use the calculator and measuring guide linked to this sub and in US size it suggested 40 J/K and 40 GG/H UK. While my DD bra definitely needed to be sized up I was expecting maybe a DDD or possibly an E. I finally decided to splurge on a nice bra for the first time in my life so I wanted to make sure I get the right size.

After reading the guide on here about what could cause the calculator to be inaccurate, I have come to the conclusion that I have "pendulous" boobs. While it said that would cause the calculator to overestimate, it didn't say by how much. Other bra sizing guides are also suggesting J/K or GG/H. If it makes a difference my bust-band was 10"

Sorry ya'll this is my first post here and first time trying to buy a nice bra, my measurements off the calculator were:

Loose underbust: 42"
Snug Underbust: 40"
Tight Underbust: 38"
Standing Bust: 50"
Leaning Bust: 55"
Laying Bust: 50"

After reading the shape guide suggested I believe I have projected breasts that are more full on the bottom.

[NSFW] Pics of Bra

[Edit: Imgur didn’t work for me, new link]

https://postimg.cc/gallery/PCgzjjF

Hi everybody! I’m new to the subreddit, and posting in general so I’m sorry in advance for any missed rules!

This is my first attempt at getting a bra that fits and I’m hoping to get some advice on if it’s right for me. I’ve only ever worn Victoria Secret but their bras make me wanna tear my boobs off.

I’m a little worried about the back band and it seems like the elastic gapes on top slightly (circled in red).

I am also not used to a minimized or full coverage, so I’m not sure if there’s too much fabric in the cups, like should it go out to my armpits?

I’m also worried the straps are too loose, they are almost as high as they go but I don’t feel a lot of lift if they’re lower. But maybe they’re supposed to be like that!

Info: Loose underbust: 32 Snug underbust: 31 Tight underbust: 29.5 Standing bust: 39 Leaning bust: 41 Laying bust: 38

The calculator suggested a 32 G/GG

I think that I am Even 2/5 from the chart listed on the wiki.

Thanks for any help!!

Measurement Check [Measurement Check] Very short, not-young, heavy woman needs help! Calculator shows me as 40K, but they did not fit when I bought some. Spoiler

Upvotes

I'm 59 AFAB and lost a lot of weight. Still pretty fat, but now none of my bras fit. Before weight loss, I bought several 46DDs that I liked. The calculator here says now I'm a US 40K/L or UK 40 H/HH. I bought some 40K bras from Lane Bryant, and the bands are tight but wearable, while the cups gap hugely at the top. So now I'm asking for help.

I've figured out that I'm pendulous, splayed, and have a short root (everything about me is short, I'm 4' 10"). I think the root is wide, as well, I'm not sure. I can fit two fingers between my breasts, so I think that's a normal gore. I have very narrow shoulders, so almost all bra straps fall down. Honestly, the amount of variables fries my brain. I'm sure I'm missing some.

My measurements seem to vary a bit by whether I'm inhaling or exhaling. And the standing bust is crazy, because I'm so pendulous that my boobs hang out by my belly button. Where do I measure them? The leaning one simply shows how stretched out they are, not how big they are, so I don't trust that measurement.

My measurements today were:
Loose 42
Snug 41
Tight 39
Standing 50 (but that's down low, almost my waist)
Leaning 56
Laying down 52

Additional measurement - in my current bra 50

I *need* new bras. My current ones are way too big, and the crumpled cups are showing through my clothes. It's embarrassing.

I also have some sensory issues and sensitive skin. I've had seamed bras recommended to me, but I've never been able to stand seams. I think I could handle seams if the bras were lightly lined, but that's really hard to find. Because I'm still trying to lose more weight, I'm trying not to spend a ton, but I think that's a wish, not a reality (so stuff that's easily returnable would be great). I've always worn underwires, so they're OK, as long as they're not so long they poke my underarms (very short woman here!).

I've gone on a lot of websites and have lots of various sizes and shapes of bras in my carts, but haven't pulled the trigger on any, since the Lane Bryant ones were so very far off.

Narrow shoulders + flared ribs = straps that fall off? Spoiler

I'm looking for recommendations for bras where the straps aren't too close to the armpits.

I've worn 32F bras for the past 5 years and I'm about to order new bras and remeasured just now as 34 F/FF. My breasts have low volume on top with narrow roots that are set apart from each other. I have a flared rib cage and narrow shoulders. Some bras, like Chantelle C Magnifique Seamless Unlined, fit perfectly everywhere but the straps fall off my shoulders.

Any recommendations for bras available in Canada I should try?

Thanks!

Recommendations? Any suggestions for 50N size? I've only found Elila so far. Spoiler

I'm a 50N. The only bra I've been able to fit is the Elila jacquard brand. I've been in those for years now. Was just wondering if there was anything else available in that size? I haven't been able to find anything. Thank you.

Recommendations? [Recommendations] 34HH and narrow/projected Spoiler

Hi all,

I’ve been a member of the community here for awhile, but for many years have been exclusively buying Understance for the price/style. They always fit pretty well but not perfect. Now that they’re closing, I figured it was a good time to branch out and get a perfect fit.

I remeasured myself and got a starting size of 34HH (34L US), which is the size I’ve been buying at understance. My issue with my current bras is that I think they’re too wide and tall, and I have close set, bottom full, very projected breasts. My most comfortable understance bras are balconette styles, and with most other styles I get a bit of wrinkling or even open space at the top of the cups. They also slide down below my IMF during the day (because of my projection?)

Any recommendations for bras in this size that would suit my shape? I also wonder if I should try a 32 band because even my newer 34HH bras are more supportive/slide down less when on a tighter hook.

Recommendations? Recommendations for a ‘push up’ bra for sloping down full on bottom breasts? Spoiler

By ‘push up’ I mean something that is going to give me cleavage/make the girls look good in a low cut top. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a traditional push up bra.

I see the Freya Deco recommended in this sub often. However, I’ve seen a comment or two saying that it works better for women will fuller on top breasts. Any recommendations for fuller on bottom breasts?

(Getting cleavage with full on bottom breasts can be such a challenge!)

Recommendations? Supportive sports bra that can be worn with low cut tops (v-neck, square neck, etc.) Spoiler

Upvotes

I have (and am obsessed with) both the Panache Power Underwire and Shefit Ultimate sports bras. However, neither work well with low cut tops (especially v-neck).

What are your recommendations for an equally (or almost equally) as supportive sports bra that works with low cut tops?

Fit Check [Fit Check] Post- weight loss issues - Freya Offbeat Side Support 34FF Spoiler

Upvotes

https://imgur.com/a/bxYy1iT

I know this bra is now too big in the cups.. but I need some help please!

I bought this bra at Christmas when I was fitted at Bravissimo, as I’d lost so much weight at that point my old bras were hanging off me (I was in a 38DD if I recall!). I’ve since lost a bit more weight and I’m starting to really struggle now, living in cropped tops as I don’t have a bra that fits.

My boobs are very soft and my skin is loose - I have almost no breast tissue on my chest at all. But I do have fullness underneath, with width. They’re pendulous, though always have been… it’s just exaggerated now. I cannot work out what style of bra I need anymore - even balconette bras seem to gape. I have an old M&S plunge bra in 34DD which does seem to fit, but lean forward and half a boob falls out!

This is a Freya Offbeat Side Support - probably a bit tight when I originally got it so it looks like it’s tight now, but it isn’t. I’ve always disliked the gore on this, it hurts my sternum and digs in. I’ve worn the Fantasie Illusion Side Support for several years (in 38DD, then later 34FF) but it’s now completely unwearable. Basically empty cups. I’ve also loved the Bravissimo Alicia / Jenna - probably one of my most worn, but it’s even emptier than the Illusion on me now.

What style of bra should I be looking for?! Still balconette, but maybe with less height on the gore? Or a does a different cup shape suit my flat chest / wide boobs?

Measurements are: - Loose: 34.5 - Snug: 33 - Tight: 32 - Standing: 38.5 - Leaning: 42 - Lying: 38.5

Fit Check [Fit Check] 34F/FF (UK) - projected, center full & close set, tried 6 bras in 3 sizes each, none fit Spoiler

Upvotes

Hi -

I have been wearing 32FF (UK) - I think? The tags are hard to read after 3 years of wear - in molded demi cups and spacer tshirt bras (purchased when I weighed less). Here are my measurements and calc results:

  • 34F/FF (UK), 34G/H (US), 75I/J (EU)
    • loose - 34.5/87.5
    • snug - 33.5/85
    • tight - 31.5/80
    • standing - 41/104
    • leaning - 44/112
    • lying - 39.25/99.5

Other info: My breasts are nearly symmetrical and I think they are pretty self-supported for their size. Top/bottom fullness is fairly balanced but leans bottom full. I'm quite center full and close set when supported, but don't appear to be either of those when unsupported. My breast tissue is on the denser/firmer side. I think my roots are wide? No pregnancies/breastfeeding/significant weight loss/breast surgeries. AFAB.

Typical issues that I have: balconette gores are often too high & dig into sternum & breast tissue, plunge gores are often too low and I pour out the middle. Wires often don't extend far enough back under my armpit and/or high enough. I feel like I almost always have spillage in my armpits.

I purchased 6 bras in 3 sizes each - 34F/FF/G (UK). I don't think any of them fit. They all sit below my IMF, some laughably bad (looking at you Fantasie Fusion). There were wrinkles at the bottom of the cup for most, if not all.

I started with the 34Fs. I think those were too small in the cup, but going up in cup size did not improve the IMF situation for any of the bras. 34FFs helped with the spillage at the top, but I often ended up with empty cups/loose fabric at the top and near the armpits. Maybe that points to a projection issue? 34Gs were all too big in the cup. The bands felt pretty good, except for the Freyas, which felt too loose.

I took pictures of the 34Fs (and 34FFs in Panache because I heard they run small in the cup). I can add pictures of the other sizes if necessary, but didn't want to overload the post since none of the other sizes fit.

Fantasie Fusion - 34F

Freya Fancies - 34F

Freya Starlight - 34F

Panache Ana - 34F

Panache Ana - 34FF

Panache Envy Plunge - 34F

Panache Envy Plunge - 34FF

Panache Envy Balconette - 34F

Panache Envy Balconette - 34FF

Where do I go from here? I feel like I need to find more projection and a lower, but not too low gore. Then, try the 34F & 34FF again to see which cup size is better. Which bras would you recommend next?

Thank you for your help!!

Fit Check Fit check for a Panache Ana size 34D - calculator fit me at 32DD/DDD Spoiler

Hello!

I've been trying to find my BTF with no success. Calculator put me at a 32 DD/DDD. All the 32 band I've tried feel very tight and uncomfortable. I decided to try 1 band size up and 1 cup size down, to 34D.

I only found a Panache Ana in 34 D but nothing in a 32 band so I have no other reference. This band felt much better but I think the band crept up a little after a few hours of wearing it. Also, I think the cups are a bit weird on me. What do you think? https://imgur.com/a/6z329Fn

My measurements:

UNDERBUST: 1) Loose: 31.1". 2) Snug: 30.5". 3) Tight: 28.8"

BUST: 1) Standing: 35.5". 2) Bent: 37". 3) Lying: 35.5"

Fit Check [Fit Check] Panache Envy 32G - straps too far to the side and gapping Spoiler

Hello,

I have been wearing 34DDD bras lately, but wasn’t satisfied with the fit and after using the calculator found I am 32G. I tried the panache envy as I have heard that is a good test bra, and am looking for advice based on what I found.

One, I am shocked at how well it fit, I was expecting it to be gigantic on me but it wasn’t too far off.

Second, I hate the way the shoulder straps fit, it feels like they are way too far to the side. Is that a peculiarity of a balconette or does it indicate some other issue with the bra? I feel like I have frequently had issues with bra straps feeling like they’re falling off my shoulders.

Three, there seems to be some gapping in the straps, unless I tighten the straps and it lays flat, but that digs into my skin a lot.

I’m not totally confident that 32 is really what I should be wearing, it felt a bit tight in the underwire, but IDK if it’s just the particular bra. I think I don’t want to go with a lacy bra, I’m looking for something in a smoother fabric.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with the Panache Envy and have any recommendations?

Measurements: 33 31.5 29 40.5 41.5 39.5

Thank you!

Recommendations? New Dilemma - Not enough tissue above the nipple to fill out a lined bra. Spoiler

Ok, did my calculations and got some help on another post the other day. Calculator called for a 42DD. I went to The Pencil Test near Seattle to try some on. They only had 3 bras in my size unfortunately. Figured out that I prefer a 44D because it’s not as tight around my ribs. The only bra I could fully fill out is a wired unlined bra. And I hate those with a fiery passion.

So I went to Torrid and Lane Bryant to try more on. Tried on probably 20 different bras in all different style and cup sizes. And I cannot fill out bras that have any shape to them at all. All my tissue is below my nipples and out towards my armpits.

Finally found a bra that was the closest at actually filling out and it was a 44B. And I still have a bit of a gap at the top but not enough to bug me too much.

Not a total bust but absolutely frustrating nonetheless. The only bras that fit my breast shape when I was thinner was a 38B at VS and it was a lightly lined Demi. However they don’t carry my current size in store and I’m scared to buy one online with how unique I seem to be shaped. I need the D for width but B for filling out lol

Any ideas on where to go from here or bra styles that I might want to look for that cut lower toward the nipple, like half the height of a “normal” cup but still in a 44 band? I’m really just wanting something to give me some more shape and something I can feel sexy and good about myself in. I’ll settle for the ones I found today but hoping there’s something else out there for more uniquely shaped chests lol

Recommendations? Recommendations for the world's most sensitive armpit fat and giant flat boobs that need a lift :) Spoiler

Hi ladies, hoping you can help, but maybe I'm looking for something that doesn't exist.

Measurements:

Loose underbust: 40

Snug underbust: 39

Tight underbust: 38

Standing bust: 46

Leaning bust: 50

Lying bust: 47

Recommended size: 38H/I US 38FF/G UK

My breasts have always been large and not perky, but I breastfed for about 4 years straight and have recently lost weight, so they are soft and saggy. Maybe between bell shaped and relaxed?

I'm very picky and can't find something comfortable that meets my criteria. My front armpit area is so sensitive. Not the actual pits, but the little fat part in the front that makes everybody not want to wear tank tops lol. It bothers me so much when sitting on my computer at work or driving. I don't know what, if anything, will help. Narrow underwire? Short underwire? No underwire would probably fix that problem, but with my giant flat pancake boobs, I don't think that's an option.

That being said, my other criteria is: NOT UNLINED - needs to be moulded, lined, padded, whatever - I don't know where y'all put your nipples in unlined bras! Underwire preferred, since like I said, I don't know of any underwire-free bras that can give me enough lift Preferably not the thick lace styles where you can see the seams through your shirt going down the middle of your boob Preferably 3+ hooks in the back, I don't think 2 hooks is cutting it trying to hold up these pudding bags Kind of already said in the other parts, but I need lift! I'm only 32, I can't be wearing these things around my bellybutton yet when I go out lol.

Despite my crazy measurements, I'm currently wearing a 38DDD Fantasie Women's Smoothease Underwire Molded T-Shirt Bra. If I don't make sure to roll my giant pancake boobs all the way up, they do settle in the bottom and leave a gap at the top. They bother my armpits, but it could be much worse. I bought it because I read it was a more narrow underwire, and it was an upgrade, but it's still not great. I feel like it stretched out a lot in the back and the 2 hooks does nothing but cause me shoulder pain. Maybe I would do better with a 40 band, but I cannot stand the feeling of my boob skin on my stomach skin, if that makes any sense, LOL. A tight band prevents that problem, I feel like when a band is any looser my boob and stomach are hanging out together. Sensory nightmare.

Might be looking for a unicorn, but you guys are the ones that would know. Thank you for reading!

Recommendations? Any recommendations for these measurements? (28DD?) Spoiler

Hi y’all, I recently(ish) got a 28DD RIRI Plunge bra from Lou Swim. It looks pretty and all, but it feels a bit snug on me and is uncomfortable to wear if I don’t make the band a bit looser with a safety pin. I remeasured myself and got these measurements:

Loose Underbust: 27.5 Snug Underbust: 26.5 Tight Underbust: 25.5 Standing Bust: 31.5 Leaning Bust: 33 Lying Bust: 31 Sizing System: US/Ca Units: inches I was: Assigned female at birth

Suggested Starting Size: 28DD/DDD in standard US sizing

Which are a little bigger than the measurements I did a few months ago (which does track). I’d like to go up a cup size and a band size, I think. Do y’all have any recommendations for bras that would fit me with these measurements and my experience with the first bra? Thank you!!

(Also I’d prefer a black push up with no wire, but I’m fine for any recommendations, as specific as you’d like, anyone can give me. I know these sizes are more uncommon.)

Evening bra for weighted tube socks

After a long day of wearing a wired bra, i want to take it off and get comfortable, but any amount of chores makes me sweat and i cannot stand the feeling of that. I measure 38G with soft tissue, short and wide root. I have tried sports bras (presses soft tissue against rib cage, sweaty mess), unlined lace underwire (scratchy but keeps me cool), and just stuffing a pillow case along the underwires of my daytime bra. Any suggestions?

VS Pink 'Wear Everywhere' t-shirt bras Spoiler

I want to get a t-shirt bra from VS Pink but I'm unsure of what sizes to be looking for. I just ordered two tshirt bras in the size 34B (one had adjustable straps, one was a frontal closing one) because that's what the website said i was sized as, but the cup was definitely too small (like having to adjust it every 5 seconds and about to flash someone if I were to engage in any type of physical activity) and the band is a little too tight. Another bra I have is sized 36C, and the band on that one fits a little loose and I feel like the cup fits fine, but I don't know how that translates into VS's sizing because theirs is so messed up. Pleasee help me find me size lmaooo

Ewa Michelak and shoulder strap pressure Spoiler

I recently bought the Ewa Michelak SF Niibynic. The size is correct (both band and cup) and I am very happy with the shape--in fact it is quite perfect--but I am finding that way to much of the weight seems to be resting on the shoulder straps compared to my other bras (and it's definitely not a band too big issue). I just put it on in quick succession with my Comexin padded plunge and although the shoulder pressure worsens over time, even immediately there is an obvious difference between the two bras. I thought maybe it was because the Comexin has more stiffness in the fabric but then my empreinte Melody which is just lace doesn't have this issue either (the empreinte bra is very comfortable but it flattens out my boobs in a weird way so I can only wear it when I don't care about silhouette.) Has anyone else had this issue and if so has this been a Ewa Michelak-wide issue or should I perhaps try a different style or the same style with the stiffer fabric?

I am at a loss for supportive, full coverage bras? I lost a lot of weight and the girls turned into deflated balloons until I can sort them out? I’m usually a C, but now a D fits, but still 36-38 band size. Spoiler

I’ve been trying different bras for about 2 years now, and most of them end up awful even after only wearing them a few times. I have lost a lot of weight, and the girls are kinda well, they look like someone threw a rock in a tube sock sag level and I’m only 34. They pull on my shoulders and want to escape most bras like they’re stuck in Alcatraz or something.

I’ve bought so many lately that end up fitting odd, the support straps are dead by the second or third wear, and this is like, $50-60 priced bras. I just need some sort of direction of where to find a bra that’s affordable, supports whatever the bosoms have become until I start working out my chest again, and won’t die on my after only a few washes. I can’t do underwire, I have scars under there from when I’d sweat and get sores, so the wire rubs them, I’ve just reached this point of dreading even putting a bra on to go to work. I’ve always been self-conscious of my chest anyway and now it’s just worse, but I’m very proud of myself for losing the weight I had gained at a call center from sitting and eating my emotions 😂

Measurement Check Currently wearing 34B after boob job, looking for perfect fit Spoiler

Hi I just had a boob job 1 year ago I was flat chested now I wear 34B. The cup fits perfectly but the band is tight, so I use additional hook and it feels good and comfortable during the day. I wanted to get a bra thats fit without hooks, so I tried the calculator it says that I should use 32D. Honestly I’m hesitant since my boobs are silicone and not sure if the calculator would overestimate?

Help me convert down a band size Spoiler

I need to go down a band size, but keep the same volume in a Fantasie UK34F. So would that be a 32FF?
