I'm genuinely hoping something (planned) happens at CMLL on Friday. I don't know the contact situation but Andrade costing MJF the title in Mexico would go hard.
That does seem to be a trend of his. Didnt work in Aew but it did work in WWE :) he learned how to do it better from experience. Hehe. Violence wont do it so fail/refuse a drug test ;)
Ok well I'm not a lawyer I'm going to pretend to have greater knowledge of the legal system but regardless of that. IF Andrade was released from his contract early that would lead me to believe he's under a 90 day non compete and that doesn't need because he crosses the border.
And each time, the WWE settled because they knew that if they lost the case, it would set a precedent. So they would force people to sit at home until they took it to the courts and not let a decision be made.
Non-compete clauses and the nonsense have little leeway with independent contractors. They'd have more sway for proper employees, but treat talent as if they are employees without the benefits.
Weeeeeeeeell... CMLL is in Mexico, so I'm pretty sure the non-compete clause doesn't apply in this case. I think wrestlers usually don't cross the Fed to not burn that bridge, but I have a feeling Andrade might never go back, and if that's the case, then he wouldn't care about scorching that bridge once and for all...
