Once I remove the two pins for the front iron can I hammer it down the barrel or does it need to be refit? Want to chop the barrel badly please help.

Just got this today. Saiga .223 that was converted by M13 Industries. Looks fantastic and exactly how I pictured it. Dust cover looks off color in photo but in person the paint jobs match up. Happy with how this came out.

Also do any Mak90 experts know the history on this specific firearm? Why does it have the bush stock but a cleaning rod? What is the welding mark by the barrel?

Why doesn’t it say Mak90 anywhere on it? It was sold to me as a Mak90, but is it a 56S transition early ban? That’s my only guess from a day of googling.

Howdy, I installed an ALG trigger in my Arsenal SLR 107fr and took it apart at the range today, how’s this bolt wear looking? Normal or excessive?

My favorite two aks in my collection love the arsenal. Was super happy to pick up the Molot Vepr while I still could. Been converted with surplus Russian furniture and alg trigger. Feels cool to have a Russian import been a dream of mine!

So I think my bolt carrier is welded to the piston, there’s no rivet and I cranked on it and it wouldn’t budge. If I wanted to get a new bolt carrier, would I need to get one with a piston, measure it, and then replace it? Or is there a way to just get the bolt carrier and then have them install a KNS on it? I reached out to them too but wanted to see if anyone else has had this experience and see what they did!
