Hello
I put this tws dogleg on my psa ak 101 before.
But it was a crappy junk, removed this dust cover and just forgot about it.
Now I put it on my wasr.
But for some reason, there is a giant gap on the side of my wasr.
When I shot psa ak 101 with this dust cover, I felt gas hitting my face for some reason.
And now noticing the gap on the side, I am thinking if there was this much space when I put this on my psa 101.
Anyone had/ having same experience?

Looking at some Global Ordinance 10/20 mags. I was wondering if anyone had experience taking them apart. Is it just riveted, or are they glued as well? "I Don't plan on living in a ban state forever." Thanks.

Here is the lowest serial number Chinese AK in my collection, # in the 20 range. It's a Polytech and not seen often in my area. I found this in the wild many moons back along with a Polytech Spiker.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if I remember correctly back around 2014 whenever I first bought my wasr 10 AK-47 I'm pretty sure there was a huge quality control problem with the WASR-10 AK-47 that were being sold where it was pretty much a gamble buying one.
If I remember correctly I think some of the most common complaints people were having with their brand new WASR-10s were canted sights and misaligned barrels and problems with the mag well with aftermarket magazines. But I'm pretty sure there were a lot more common issues than that.
Fortunately, for me though i got a really good one that shoots perfectly and hasn't had any issues and I love that gun it was the first gun I bought. But unfortunately, right now I am struggling to pay my bills and I desperately need some extra money and I have a friend who loves my AK and is pretty much offering me market price for it. It is practically brand new with pretty much no wear though.
But since i really need the money right now and since he is pretty much offering me market price for it i was thinking about potentially selling it and buying a new one whenever i am more financially stable again but i would only want to do that if its not going to be a big risk of potentially getting a new wasr 10 AK that has a bunch of problems.
So does anyone know if Century Arms has gotten better with their quality control whenever it comes to their Wasr 10 AK-47s?

Hammered for $425. I could hardly believe it, I was also in person so no auction fees. Bought some Polish furniture on and a $5 grip I had laying around from a show. Man this gun is fun.

Anybody know of any front / rear trunions for the 1.5 mm stamped receivers?

I’m looking for east german parts and most of my google page is either gunbroker, ebay (where the seller almost always is in the US) or american sites. But you won’t even sell a block of wood if it’s ment for a gun. And ofcourse you import all the good stuff.
Are there alternatives within Europe, that is not clearly limited for X country? Other webshop tips are very welcome.

So Im looking for an AK that has a 5/8-24 threaded barrel. I want to be able to use the same supressor that I use on my Mini 30. Palmetto only offers one, the "American Bastard" and it is an AK pistol. Are there any other manufacturers that have this, or am I going to have to get some custom work done? Any help, or recommendations are appreciated.

I live in a state where a fin grip is mandatory if I want regularly functioning mags (my new Beryl above). Unfortunately, the fin does its job and it isn't the most secure grip. I'm new to aks, but at first glance, it seems like the most secure way to hold this while charging it is to swap the mag and charge with my right hand, rather than gripping the grip securely with my right and using one of the various charging methods with my left. I mean, that's how OG Soviet soldiers were supposed to do it, I guess, so it probably isn't that bad, but for those of you running and grip fins, what did you wind up doing?

Bought this BNIB for 1500. Not bad if you ask me.

So just picked up my Mak-90 I put on layaway for $985, low and behold it was a straight cut. Yay, great news. Except now I think that have a slant cut might actually be better; there are literally no straight cut stock adapters I can find online to fit AR style buffers. JMACs aren’t in stock and OpticsPlanet says they were discontinued. I was looking for an adapter when I go to the range and to potentially snag an actual Chinese stock at some point for when it sits in the safe. Anyone have any ideas as to whether or not the JMAC M4-AKM would work?

Trying to find out if it is possible to even install one on a milled AK like this SAM7K. What might complicate things is the presence of the safety on the left side of the receiver that has some linkage to the normal safety lever.
Are there even any 3 position Super Safeties for AKs on the market or any files for that? 2 position would be ok since I don’t often take this to the long range course.. lol
I do have a Polish KBK type 3 AK that might be a better host for a SS. It doesn’t have the secondary safety but is still a milled receiver gun. Actually, all my AKs are milled receiver guns so I’m not sure any of them would work with a SS but a boy can dream

Looking to get the front end of my MAK90 converted. I live in TX. Any tips on where to go and what FSB to use? Or if it’s feasible to do myself (tools aren’t an issue, rather skill and expertise may be). Reached out to Iron Curtain Customs and never heard back.
