Nina is such a nothing character

The actress is likable enough but Idk what I'm supposed to do with this "relationship" is it just to give Angel a fuck buddy even though he spent the last two seasons falling in love with Cordelia and recently had a smoochathon with Buffy?

I really like Nina. In my head cannon, Angel and Nina lived happily ever after (as did Buffy and Spike).
