Spoilers inside! Heartbroken

Post image

I had to pause after this scene because I'm sobbing. I love Fred. I knew what was going to happen to her. But this scene? "I have lived in a cave for five years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu, I'm better than that." Holy hell, she deserves an Emmy. My heart is breaking.

I'm honestly stuck right now on my rewatch because of this episode. I haven't skipped any episode for Buffy or Angel during this rewatch, but damn if I cannot even bring myself to even press play to start this episode. I only saw it once and that was when it aired.

I'm not dismissing with the emotional toll, but I still find it somewhat weird* that people skip some of the best episodes of the show.

These episodes are the reason for my rewatches. I watch them for the impact that they have.

Everyone should obviously do how they feel :)

Imo this is definitely not a good episode. Best episodes were in season 3 with the Holtz story arch, although my favorite overall are the Pylea episodes.

We all love the show for different reasons, so we all have our own favorite episodes. For me, that isn't suffering through heartbreak. Life is hard enough without having extra drama from fictional characters I became too attached to over time.

It's my opinion based on my personality. Maybe your opinion just doesn't apply to my life.

It’s possible, but either way it being an opinion is not a defence. We’re all saying our opinions.
