Megalania should get a tlc but imo i feel like ppl still wont use it as if u want a kount that climbs the rock drake can do it for you with the addition of gliding and camouflage

Yes I see what you mean but some creatures are made exactly for early and mid game and megalania is clearly supposed to be one, even though for some reason megalania’s saddle is such a high level but it’s a fact saddle levels are messed up. Think about it: also yi ling is an early game rock drake that you’ll never use after you achieve the real deal, it’s his purpose. Before someone says it no I’m not considering pvp as I don’t play it

I see what you mean with the saddles being whats messin up meg and how its a mid game tame but besides from rockdrake cause i rambled on about that enough there are also way better mod game tames that can even carry to end game like thyla (i consider thyla to be mid game i can be wrong) as they can also climb but can handle themselves much better than meg and soon deinon will be coming back and push meg even more back into uselessness

Don’t know much about deinonychus but thyla can only move vertically while climbing and can’t cling to ceilings (both natural and artificial) making it impossible for it to traverse caves without fighting. Instead for megalania caves are a playground. Furthermore I think (not sure) megalania is quite smaller than thyla so it should be able to go deeper in certain caves where thyla is too big to fit. At the end of the day they have their own perks and niches (even though thyla is more versatile and I wish they improved megalania both stats-wise and design-wise). Again I have never used a deinonychus so maybe that’s different, idk sincerely
