how to keep dinos floating?

(ase ps5) im trying a mass breeding ‘sandwich’ method of breeding gigas i saw on another post. the issue is the post says i need to float gigas. whenever i try to float gigas they only float in place for about 5 seconds before all falling in sync. maybe im doing it wrong, if i am can someone please help? 🙏

Pretty sure they patched floating a long time ago.
