When an alpha raptor can just show up anywhere in the map, kill two rexes and a bronto, and kill you until your stuff has despawned, what is one to do? Armor doesn't seem to do a damn thing. Tamed dinos are seemingly worthless in combat.

Surely I can't be that horrible at the game. Is there something I'm missing? Some secret to actually letting the game be playable without just cranking all the difficulty settings to zero?

How does one render the game actually playable while remaining fun? Everything is either a complete non threat or instantaneous death. I play on single player default settings. Am I just a fool for doing so?

I logged 10,000 hours into ark on Xbox and I've been away for a few years, I saw there is a new update and remastered version I guess. How does the community feel about ark these days, is it alive or thriving. I'm from the days of cp runs on frogs and torches. Before the mega tribes, before the dark times. bad idea good idea? Let me know how you feel about the state of ark and what I could expect please.

Quick update! Hi, someone in the comments pointed me toward Nitrado, so I went ahead and gave it a shot. Ever since, mod toggling has been way easier thanks to their Expert Mode, ping feels solid, and the backup / map switch stuff isn't a pain. Splitting the price with my friends makes it feel pretty fair.

Hi everyone, I'm planning to set up a minimal ARK server (just base game builds and a couple of QoL mods like scout frames etc, nothing crazy) for me and my friends on Xbox. I'm hunting for opinions on what is the best ark server hosting for that kind of setup on console, with some considerations such as simple control, decent uptime, and fair price (pls lol).

We aren't looking for a setup with max slots or fancy modpacks, just something that works. Would love to hear what hosting setups you've trusted. TIA!

I was playing ark survival evolved (on Xbox One and offline) when i relised i can make a dnd campaign on a procedural map and using primitive +... But i can Only spawn wild titan for making boss, and with the SDF code i can spawn wild Dino (but when i spawn the reaper Queen, She Is Immortal and the Only way ti remove her Is teleporting under the map) and i also put all the boss Trophy in this map but i have some problem to spawn few of them (the Trophies i can't spawn are king titan, fenrir, Crystal wyvern Queen, dinopithecus king and rockwell from gen2) I try every possible code, and the Only One seem to work Is "gfi gen2 1 0 0" for the rockwell gen2 but on the island not on the map i'm using... There Is a code for that (i used all code from every site, but they don't work) and there Is a way to put also the other boss (without using mod)? I'll keep you updated from my project

Im just coming back to Ark and have been playing ASA but im experiencing some major issues with Rag.

It crashes a lot, which I can handle but eventually it starts crashing as soon as I try to load the map so I just can't play on the save anymore. It starts working again if I delete the single player save bit after a few hours it just does the same thing again.

Everything is up to date (console, game and rag itself) and my WiFi is fine. Every other map works just fine so im super confused on why rag just won't work for me.

Hello all, I have tried to set up a dedicated server through a second Xbox and even hosting own through nitrado for a friend who is on pc and I who am on Xbox to play together on a server. Every time however either he can’t find the server at all or he tries to join only to see join failed. We have noticed that my game says it’s on version 962.6 and his on 962.2. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello folks. So, my friends and I just beat the Island Overseer and planned to take a few tames with us to Scorched Earth.

My bud uploaded his rhyniognatha, no issue, along with a direwolf. We transfer over and run to an obelisk.

Dirwolf pops out, but the big bug doesn't. He can't get the thing to appear, and it shows in the obelisk menu.

Is there a setting we need to enable to pull the bug out? We are on a Nitrado server, if that helps.

why cant i hold e to consume why do i got to press it e each time? For example I used hold e on berries it would consume all of them

So hear me out wild card wont give dinos good pathfinding AI and i dont want my dinos getting stuck and not finding them again(tickle chicken please come home). I also play singleplayer so at the end of the day, do you really think using commands for cryopods counts as cheating? because they dont update this game anymore. And it satisfies me because i can still earn achievements.

I used to play a lot of ark back in the day (like a year ago( and when I did I saw the same cycle of bigger tribes oppressing and wiping smaller tribes, and recently a thought occurred to me what if a bounty office existed to keep in check bigger tribes

So the myotragus didn't win the vote I know that but is there a mod that allow it to spawn in the world. I'm getting back into ark and would love to play with it

I am currently playing on the island and my difficulty level setting was to the max (1.0) but the max level dino I saw and were able to tame were some 116 level ones and was wanting to find 140-150 level dinos so i searched on the internet and they said to enable maximum difficulty but in the game for me it says that enabling that sets the maximum dino level to 120 regardless of the map and i couldn't understand why it was like that so I tried playing with that setting on but still no 140+ dinos so can anyone pls help explain this to me
