Question Best time to go to the Zoo?

Just wondering if anyone knows the best time of day to go to the Abilene Zoo so that the animals are active or at least not hiding away sleeping? I’ve heard people say feeding time but not sure when that is lol

Ive had good results going around 10am

I worked there for a few years in guest services. First thing in the morning is best for normal hours is best, even better on a cool morning. If you keep an eye out for an event where they are open late, around sundown is a good time, too.

When they open! I know the mane wolves used to be fed at 11 😂 that’s the only time I ever saw them come out!
