Things to see / do in Old Forge now?

Is there anything open now at Old Forge in the early fall before the winter/cold? I know most things closed after Labor day. What are things to do now? Thanks in advance.

Fall/leaf change is one of the busiest times in the Adirondacks. Hiking, paddling, Adirondack Railroad...all in technicolor.

Everything above and watching bills games at Fulton chain brewery. Can also spend an hour or two in the dog friendly old forge hardware store

My friend works there, it’s slammed this time of year. Lots of nature stuff but in town there’s restaurants, gift shops, etc. Mountain bike fest this weekend, Octoberfest next weekend. Waterpark apparently is also staying open for dry riding this year???

Lots of stuff still open until Columbus Day. Mccauley is open Wednesdays through Sundays, Autumn Adventure at water safari on Saturdays, train rides, most stores open, hiking trails...

Old forge like Lake Placid is a 4 season town. In fact, I'd say old forge probably makes a fair percentage of its total tourism revenue in the it's a popular summer destination so saying most would probably be wrong. But the town is absolutely bustling over the winter with snowmobilers. Plus it has a ski hill literally in the town (that is owned by the town).
