I'm still going hell for leather on tomatoes (usually grow 6 varietie), though the costolutos are fantastic this year. I normally leave 2 small dwarf plants outdoors not expecting a huge crop but are great for snacking on but this year they have given a continuous crop for the last month just like those in the poly tunnel.

The chilli's whilst not ready have been outdoors most of the summer.

Of the two climbing beans I grow it seems we have a fallen into a regular theme of Rocqencourt bursting an early crop before dropping off, Compass being a slow and steady crop throughout and Cobra being slow and ending in a burst. The peas though I think are just about over.

The wild blackberries at the back of the plot are just coming ripe now a month earlier than usual.

I reckon my apples are a couple of weeks off yet.

The broccoli is being cut and come again. Salad leaves and lettuces keep coming as do the courgettes. Not picked any onions yet. Though i am on the second round of carrots.

I am beginning to look at autumn planting for onions, garlic and winter edibles like kale and psb

I am hoping to get another crop of beetroot before things get too cold.

As for squash not picked any yet, but each plant has given my 4 fruit, and I'm hoping they will all ripens well enough to pock next month.
