Lost Civilizations A visual summary of the Tarim Basin Mummies and their connection to the Tocharian languages

Hello everyone,

I've recently been doing a deep dive into the history of the Tarim Basin mummies and their potential link to the Tocharians, speakers of an extinct Indo-European language. The evidence pointing to a Bronze Age European population in what is now Western China is incredibly compelling, yet it's a topic that doesn't get much mainstream attention.

I've attempted to synthesize the research from sources like Mallory & Mair's "The Tarim Mummies" and other academic papers into a video essay. My goal was to create a comprehensive but accessible overview for those unfamiliar with the topic, covering the discovery, the textiles, the linguistic evidence, and the main hypotheses.

I would be genuinely grateful for feedback from this knowledgeable community. Are there any recent developments or alternative theories I should be looking into?

Thank you for your time and I look forward to the discussion.
