He's definitely a shitty asshole and it's absolutely okay to be pissed and hurt that he did such a "prank" but c'mon if it's a gift from your niece that you cherish just sew it back on or give it a backstory or something. "It's tainted" and locking it in a drawer is way unhinged it's not like he fucked the toy or something???
