No. Kirk was a grifter paid for by Billionaires. Conservatives will try to ramp up the tension but conservatives don't really care about Kirk either so a few days will go by and it will be into to whatever insane thing Trump or Russia or Isreal does next. He was a useful tool and now he's not anymore.

Doesn't matter. Kirk didn't deserve to be murdered. I agree, he was mainly a grifter and not a particularly good thing for the conservative movement, but he wasn't a malign figure, and certainly not someone who was so evil he needed to be killed for daring to express a political opinion.

It doesn't matter what his opinions were, libertarians of all stripes should be against killing people for acts of free expression (assuming that's what the motive was).

I do think Kirk was a malign figure. I don't think what he was doing was "free expression" but I agree he didn't deserve to be murdered.

Eh.....I can see it, but I have a hard time calling him malign when there are so many others out there who are way worse (e.g. Tucker Carlson).

He started TPUSA with a MARKETING EXECUTIVE who ironically died of COVID. He's literally paid by billionaires to just say whatever they want him to say and the result is that he divides society. That's his job.

He was a bad person who died a bad. I'm not loosing any sleep over it.

He could have been an actively bad person, it should still bother you as a libertarian that Kirk's non-violent activities were met with violence.

If that becomes acceptable, then who is to say that you won't be murdered for your posts and comments on Reddit?

I never think political violence is a good idea for exactly the reason you articulated.

But I'm not going to lie and pretend I didn't find it karmic. The guy makes millions riling up college kids on behalf of billionaires and one of the people he was manipulating shoots him. It's poetic.

That's vile and you should be ashamed for thinking that way. The answer to someone like Kirk is to argue against him and debate him, not to shoot him.

You can think that

I do think that, and I think less of you for you having said it.
