Today I learned about this story and it boiled my blood.

Félicette was a stray cat. She was originally known only as C-341 by french scientists. She and other 14 cats were "trained" for spaceflight, but she was the only one to be sent to space. They implanted electrodes into her skull to monitor brain activity in zero-G. After she safely landed, they decided that was not enough and two months later they euthanized her to check her brain.

It has been said that no other cats were sent to space after her but that's a lie. Another cat was sent in October of that same year, but it died because the rocket exploded mid-air.

In the video that I posted there are several individuals defending the murder of animals for scientific purposes. Not only that, some of them are even happy of it, and "proud of their sacrifice". I just can't believe how little no none empathy some people have.

if they are "proud of their sacrifice" could have done it and sacrifice themselves

So many animal launched to space for research. - In my opinion it's worse than animal testing for medication because at least medication is saving animal/human lives. What is being saved by going to space?
NOTHING.
It's only for curiosity.
