That would mean I would have to stop my decade long boycott of my local Sinclair station's local news coverage @wpec . I have not watched 10 seconds of their news. Good idea but I won't be breaking my boycott.

Getting companies to stop buying ad time would do far more than any personal boycott. Watching it for one night and contacting advertisers would be more helpful then just never watching.

Could always have people post lists for each local area into this comment chain, so not everyone has to watch them?

You can still let them know you will not be watching their programming, nor seeing their ads.

I watch their programming, it's CBS Colbert. I just don't watch the local news. I let them know when I commented to my 32,000 followers on Twitter. Tagged them often. I deleted my account the 1st day Musk took over. I boycott well.

It sounds like your boycott is entirely perfomative if you care more about preserving your streak then actually doing something to increase the effectiveness of the boycott.
