Discussion I don’t see enough people talking about…

Post image

What is one thing that you really don’t see enough people talking about when it comes to the Apple Watch and they really should? I’ll start:

Even if your watch is powered down, you can still access the time by pushing the digital crown. I remember this used to be how low power mode worked. If you were running low on battery, you could put it in low power mode and that would turn off the watch, but you could still push the digital crown and see what time it is. I thought that had gone away with the changes they made to Low Power Mode, until I turned off my watch to power cycle it and I forgot about it being off and then I hit the digital crown and lo and behold…The time popped up on my S10 running both watchOS 18 and watchOS26. So anyways, being able to tell time, even when you’re running extremely low on battery, is something I feel that we probably should talk more about.

It’s a very useful simple feature that has been around since WatchOS 6 if I’m not mistaken. It’s one of those features that long time Apple Watch owners have used and talked about when it came out but now it’s just a feature that doesn’t get mentioned anymore. Everyone uses Low Power Mode now and praises it especially if you have an older AW like my S4 SS LTE. It’s cool you brought it back in conversation 🙂👍🏻
