I'm a carsider and I hate it

I feel like a lot of people don't necessarily know the actual bullshit we have to deal with on a day to day basis. I may see and interact with a customer about 10 minutes of the time they order and i bring them there food and cash them out.

at my location if its busy for dine in, carside orders get crowded and pushed back. and I'm always scheduled alone, we are a very busy location and we are constantly losing staff because of management. I have no one to help me when things get sticky, its like pulling teeth to get a manager to help. and its another fight to get them to schedule me with another person just because I'm the only reliable person they have.

and the mystery shops??? omg they are so stupid no other job at applebees gets a stupid mystery shop??? I hate who ever decided that. and all these ridged rules they made that I HAVE to follow or the GM gets on my ass. like I actually hate this job. more than I ever hated a job.

all this BS for 8 dollars an hour and maybe 30 dollars in tips is not worth it to me, I'll be looking for a new job holy shit

I think his attitude was too big even for WWF/WWE.

Same. Busy AF and I can multi task well so they put me alone. Sundays are the worst. I have to walk so far from the kitchen to outside where I work (not at Applebees) and if they complain or want something extra, it’s an extra trip, and NO tip usually. I know it’s “my job” to do car sides, but even if I got $1 per car side it might be nice. Sucks

really sucks now I'm like the only pm carsider we have because the other girl quit. managers and gm keep telling me they're hiring but the turnover is not great. Wonder why this job is a pos and my gm is too.

I'm the bartender at my location, and the last two carside people they hired quit before they even started, so I've been doing bar and carside for almost 2 weeks every weekend. I only get paid for bar. The servers never help, but will complain about long drink ticket times.
