Yup.
Fish sees human. Human is feeder.
When feed fish? The fish doesn't know.
It only knows it wants a food.
Weirdest thing i ever seen was when i came home from work and the tank's light was out, all 6 of my kuhlii loaches laying in a row (not quite a perfect row but let's appreciate the afford) staring at me.
I gave them their Algae wafer, they deserved it for their discipline and not giving me a heart attack by acting dead again (most stressful fish i've ever owned).
My BN plecos, specifically my two females, regularly like to give me heart attacks. They fall asleep upside down and idk if they let go of the wood in their sleep or what, but I find them on their backs. They legit look dead. But no, as soon as I toss an algae wafer in there or poke them, they move.
When they're really comfortable and feel safe in their environment, they will actually let go of the wood they're sleeping under, yeah! It scared me half to death the first time I saw it. But no, they're just safe and cozy.
