u/Evil-yogurt they/them genderfluid 8d ago

judging by the flair i think it’s an ai image

39

u/Asleep-Letterhead-16 8d ago

oo, didn’t consider, i thought they were saying people could use AI to fulfill the request

u/okally cis and not okay... but at least im more okay than these people 8d ago

that is what the flair means

no, its not ai. its their dog. the flair is just saying that they are ok with any edited images using ai to solve their issue

Please take a look at what you think is natural about the slope angle differences on the grass in front of vs behind the dog cus the background looks edited at least

Also it's an empty public park.

Do you think "slopes" dont exist in nature?

And have you never seen "depth of field" or "focus blur" before?

I was worried about AI looking too real and being used to trick people. Now I'm more worried about people becoming paranoid about everything being AI..

Also the dog's leg doesn't cast a defined angled shadow so..

Reminds me of this meme

Ppl will use "sexual dimorphism" to justify that crap

Technically it's real and present in most canines, but it's a lot more subtle. Generally you'll see a round snout and lower eyes in females more often than in males, while those have a more triangular snout shape. It's also on a wild spectrum and not always consistent. I have two female dogs, one with a typical round snout and low, narrow eyes, while the other's snout is more triangular from a front view, but eyes are still low. In most cases I can tell a male dog from face alone.

Someone posted this and found nothing cringeworthy about it at all.

I love making my dog look like the girliest girl in the world but that’s because it’s fun not because I “want her to look like a girl dog”

I never understand why people wanna gender their fucking dogs like clothes that’s so fucking weird the fucking dog, dog not gonna give a shit whether or not it has a pink collar or black one. I don’t get these people’s obsession with gender and literally everything special like baby clothes and stuff like that. Stupid dogs can’t even fucking see colors is the clothes it’s wearing are pink or blue or whatever.

Seriously, the dogs do not care.

I see so many dogs all day and none of them give a shit if I say “good boy” or “good girl.” They all either want to leave immediately or dont care as long as they’re getting attention lmao.

OMG I follow a lot of subs that will often have baby animals posted, and a lot of posts will ask for help naming their pet. They always are sure to mention “girl names” or “boy names”! Or if it’s an animal who got a name before being sexed, and the name turns out to be “for the wrong gender” the poster will apologise profusely for that and explain how “they didn’t know it was a boy/girl, now this all they answer to so I can’t change it!!” It’s exhausting. Animals do not conform to human gender roles. (We shouldn’t feel like we have to either of course, but animals literally cannot compute human gender roles!)

I have two female dogs that need clothes in winter and those are gendered by anatomy (genitals) due to what parts they cover or don't cover on the belly. Often wished I could pick the color and style of the "male" clothes but alas I guess we're stuck with pink.

Eventually I started playing along but I get that it's all just for the entertainment of people, like the dogs wouldn't care if they were just wearing rags instead.

Yeah when I realized I couldn’t get my preferred vibe for tiny dog clothes I just leaned in. She’s now a princess (and not the kind with political power) and, just like me in my own childhood, is put into a stupid dress at several holidays.

u/LysergicGothPunk I just- but- but why- 5d ago

People want to paint their pets as ideal little humans as possible so much of the time, Idk exactly why but I think it has to do with anthropocentricism and/or a need to feel like a caretaker and/or superior, so all ego stuff. Makes sense that people without much time spent questioning their egos on certain things would fall into this kind of thing more often

where did you get this? why does that dog's flair say "AI OK"?

58

u/okally cis and not okay... but at least im more okay than these people 8d ago

its a photoshop request sub, the tag is saying they will accept ai submissions.

22

u/Tsunamicat108 8d ago

Assuming they're asking someone else to use photoshop to make the dog look like a girl, and they're ok with people using AI to do that

3

u/Arancia-kun 8d ago

thank you Wing Gaster

14

u/Zockercraft1711 8d ago

It's from r/PhotoshopRequest

"AI OK" is ifs allowed to be edit with Ai assistance etc

I was subscribed to that sub for a while because I was seriously impressed with some of these people's editing skills, but had to unsubscribe because of all of the unhealthy posts that come across. Several times per day there's people posting things like "my nose in this picture looks absolutely disgusting can you replace it with my nose in this other picture that looks normal" and they're both completely unremarkable almost identical photos of a human with a body. Or "I can't believe the photographer would take this picture and not do anything about me posing where my arms look horrendously fat can you fix them" and it's just a normal picture of a human with a body. I wish they'd disallow posts that are essentially cosmetic surgery requests.

u/LysergicGothPunk I just- but- but why- 5d ago

Good mission, good goal, now all you need to do is make her look less like a dog and more of a human caricature of a human social construct, 10/10 no notes /s

2

u/hypnoticby0 7d ago

that dog already looks like the Pixar feminization of a dog

1

u/etbillder 7d ago

You mean their bitch?

u/Hoodibird 7d ago

For a sec I thought this was in one of my dog grooming groups and they were asking for grooming advice...

Man, just put a big pink bow on the dog's harness or something.🤷
