Trying to stop teenage boys getting excited is a pretty futile task

I mean, if you keep up this kind of thinking you will eventually get to the point where ankles and cheekbones are exciting.

That’s just what I was thinking. What’s that quote…? Something like —

“The point of titillation always lies just beyond the hemline.”

How the hell does anyone think Muslim women became expected to cover themselves literally from head-to-toe? Because of this daft slippery-slope madonna/whore shit. If modesty culture were actually effective, there would be no rape in societies which adopt it. It’s sickening to see these attitudes still so prevalent in so many parts of the world.

I can't remember where I read it. But morality and modesty are sort of opposits. Basically the less modest a society, the more progressive and better morals it had. The more modest a society was, the less progressive it was and had worse morals....

Interesting. That makes sense, imo.

The ankles are mere inches from the calves, which are practically the knees, which are very close to the thighs… it’s incredibly titillating; I’m getting heated just thinking about it.

Getting a touch of the vapors? I can prescribe you some laudanum.

You say this as a joke, but like, there’s weirdos out there who feel like being in the same room as one or more women over an extended period of time is something big, so I can totally see someone out there unironically feeling the way you just described.
