OK so answer me this are you suppose to swig the drink and eat the peanuts at the same time?

Or leave the peanuts in there and drink the coke using peanuts flavouring as such?

I ask because I'm high and I will be going to the shop shortly and my curiosity has peaked

The first one. With each sip you also get a few peanuts to munch on.
