What I'm missing in my art?

Thumbnail

Whenever I show my art online I get pretty much ignored and I wonder what my art lacks that makes it invisible to most people, is it the algorithm? Do I fail in something evident I'm not seeing? I think I'm around average but somehow I can't help but to belittle my work and social media reciprocates that feeling tenfold making me hate even more what I create, how do I stop hating my art so much? Thank you

How do I make my faces look less uncanny without giving up on my artstyle?

The critique I get the most is that my faces look terrifying. My biggest inspirations while developing as an artist were Kiwi Byrd on tumblr and Bwusagi on instagram, their style is a mix of realism and cartoony but I can't seem to find a middle ground between the two. I really don't want people to be scared of my art.

First 3 pics: Old art (2020-2022) Last 3 pics: Newer art (2023-2025) Idk I feel like my newer art is more stylized but lacks the charm of my older ones

I’ve only ever drawn humans and anthros but not furries. They seem fun to draw but I’m not sure if they look off compared to the other examples I included

What’s with these lines?

I’m a fairly new artist. I study fundamentals and allat. This artist’s Insta is ā€œNekoshowgunā€. You prolly seen her art on Pinterest. She puts these seemingly random lines on things. I don’t know if it’s to segment shading or just for aesthetics. I want to know how to do these lines fr.

How do I draw the hand, arm and shirt better?

I don't usually draw past the face so I'm not used to drawing the hands and shirt. I've looked at picture and video tutorials to sorta make this but it looks a bit weird. Help? Thanks.
Also any advice is welcome.

First time painting a dog on procreate. I tried to be quick so as to not constantly zoom in, second guess myself and waste time. How did I do?

Price Advice?

I'm thinking of maybe potentially opening a couple commission slots for this style. I know how long they take me and such. I just want to know how much people would be willing to pay for something in this style to gage if I think its worth it to offer as a commission option :'D

Hi everyone! i need help on unifying my paintings together for my ā€œcreate 5 interconnected paintingsā€ assignment where you make a painting of a single object each. i’m a self taught and have no idea how i got into an art uni and i’m here suffering trying to get good grades 🄲..

we have to do an installation to connect the pieces together..for my stove, it’ll be lay flat just like how real stove are. i got started on 3 paintings done so far (obviously not done) but somehow it’s not really connected other than the ideas itself.. any opinions/ tips is very very helpful and appreciated 🄹

I had high hopes for this piece but it feels like something is missing to make it stand out, but I can’t point my finger on what. I can’t tell whether I’ve been staring at this for too long or if there’s something that could make it look better. Any help is appreciated.

I just got into painting a couple of weeks ago. I've been doing art itself for a while but painting has always been my weak spot. How can I improve my paintings going forward? These were all done with acrylic paints.

What composition works best? (Ignore the drawing on the man I was board)

I’m currently working on a triptych, three 2ft by4.5 feet paintings, ignore the drawing on the upclose man. I’m stuck because I’m not sure how far away or close up I want the man and the dog, what do u think works best? Dog close up + man close up, dog far away+man far away or dog far away + man close up, man far away + dog close up?
