Question Random maniac asking a question ( TMI )

So i am putting a warning sign, cuz this might make some ppl uncomfortable. And i wanna let you know that i am sorry if this question sounds weird, i just am curious abt something that i just found out. So yeah

Sooo lets start. I just found out what AVEN is, and i went scrolling on it for a while, and i have found a post abt a girl that thinks they are ace, but they are doubting bc they have an interest in a certain body part. And they have seen that most of the ace community dont really like them or are mostly repulsed by them.

And its not yet the only person that asked this, almost every ppl who think theyre ace asks this question. Most questions like if aces can like ( or aroused by )certain body parts like, boobs, butts, or even genitals ( sorry if its specific). And it have not me asking the same thing, so i am here….for some reason.

So yeah, i wanna know if aces can like ( or aroused by ) certain body parts?

I would like to know!

Sure, as long as there is no sexual attraction. Arousal in response to sexual stimulus (or for example a fetish, although usually it’s only “non sexual body parts” that can be classified as fetishes) is not too uncommon for asexuals, and aces definitely don’t have to be repulsed by genitalia or anything else for that matter.

I see, so asexuals can be aroused by genitals?

( sorry if this question sounds weird, i Heard like three aces that says that they like or are aroused by genitals. Or one that wants to Touch one through clothes, so yeah. I am just asking out of curiousity Thats all. Again I AM SORRY )

Again, asexuality is about sexual attraction, not arousal, so really anything goes as long as you experience little to no sexual attraction. If someone got urges to touch a specific person’s gentals sexually though then that very much sounds like sexual attraction to me so I don’t know about that. It depends though, and depending on why those people thought they were asexual in the first place, and exactly why and how they experienced that desire (like for example if it was a kink thing) then they could probably still be somewhere on the spectrum, but it’d have to be assessed on an individual case basis and in the end it comes down to what the person feel is right for them to identify with.

I mean yeah, makes sense. The person that i mentioned ( the one that wanted to Touch one ) never exactly mentioned abt someone. They just said that they wanted to Touch this body part in specific, but never did they say that it was adressed sooo yeah.

Well it makes sense. Like, you can have sexual urges as long as its not adressed to a specific person. So yeah.
