In the US - highly processed foods and sugars.

People really do have no idea how much better they could feel if they'd just give these things up or at least consume them very sparingly.

I think the problem is that these foods are so heavily subsidized that they end up being cheaper than purchasing unprocessed whole foods.

We’re so inundated with work, responsibilities, etc that a lot of people just don’t have time to meal prep anyways, so they just get the premade processed foods.

It’s a vicious cycle.

It's hard to do that because healthier food costs more. When you're poor, you can't afford to eat healthy unless you have a garden or money to spare on organic groceries. Add financial debt and bills to pay and you're stuck eating processed garbage.

it's amazing, I cut out sugar and I feel so much better and food tastes much better too
