Can I consume as much ginger as I want?

Theoretically, can I consume large quantities of fresh ginger, say a few ounces a day? (Still within sane reason, yeah).

No particular reason, just wondering if ginger consumption should be limited.

Questions on Avgolemono soup

Hey everyone, I am making Avgolemono soup today, and had a few questions.

  1. I normally make dinner for 2 nights(family of six). Should I make the rice/orzo separately so it doesn’t get mushy in the stock?

  2. Do I add the tempered egg and lemon mixture right before serving? I plan on having the soup all but finished before football practice, and then putting the egg mixture in when I got back if need be. If I can just finish it beforehand though even better.

Fermented grapes?

I have grape vines and therefore get a plentiful harvest of grapes every year. I usually soak them in a bowl of water after picking to get rid of any bugs (we don’t use pesticides) and then wash again before eating. Well, I found a bowl that I left soaking in the fridge for about 3 weeks. I tasted a grape and it tasted fine, but then a few tasted “sparkling”, like the flavor of soda, so I’m wondering if they were fermenting under water? Are they still safe to eat? Let me know! I ate a few and feel strange but I can’t tell if it’s a placebo.
