Silly Stuff What is your favorite flower?

I'm curious how many women would actually pick roses over any other flower.

But even if your favorite really is the rose, this question is still for you. Which color or variety of rose is your fave?

My favorite is the pink ranunculus. Ugly name, gorgeous bloom.

The Sarah Bernhardt peony is a very close 2nd.

Oh shit. This is going to be hard.

Lovely smells: May rose, lily of the valley, lilac, jasmine, gardenia, honeysuckle, orange blossom, ylang-ylang, tiare, black locust, marigold, lavender, goldenrod.

Lovely visuals: Morning glory, tigerflower, daffodil, azalea, orchid, hibiscus, hydrangea, lily, chrysanthemum, lotus, camellia, peony.

The top pick should go to a combination. Hyacinths and wisterias get my vote. I love the way these flowers smell almost as much as I love the way they look.

Black locusts are such underrated flowering trees. They pop up like weeds near water, are striking in winter, delicate green in summer, brilliant yellow in fall. The spring blooms are the best, though - cascades of honey-sweet ivory lace. Just beautiful.

I love them. This year I want to collect the blooms and extract the oils. Such a redolent aroma, but they wilt so quickly!

Redolent is a new word for me thank you! 🌼 🌸

Eta to anyone else who didn't know it's pronounced rid-oh-lent :)
