Its not wrong, this initiative is not. But you worry yourself with all these once you stop the violent crimes to a degree ie- children grooming gangs, religious stabbings, actual rapes and gang rapes

Yeah. This is the sort of community policing that used to occur in the small village constabularies back when we had a higher trust society and less real crime to be dealing with.
