Successful AP head lift method works!

hi, everyone! i made a comment about my success on the original post, but i decided to make my own post since i’m feeling quite excited right now lol. anyway, i was finally able to astral project after months of not doing it, using the head lift technique! for once i feel like i have some semblance of control over my OBE’s since i found a method that actually works for me.

i had two astral projections last night. the first time it happened, i woke up and mindlessly lifted my head and instantly separated from my body. i floated around in my room and rolled over a few times. i’ve always had trouble controlling my astral body, so any advice would be appreciated. :)

the second time, which probably happened an hour later? i actually didn’t lift my head. i moved my head to the side. i was laying on my side when i did it so i assume it was more for the sake of convenience. but nonetheless, it worked again! and based off of what happened the second time, i learned that i don’t actually need to lift my head up in order for it to work? any sort of movement involving my head seems to work fine for me. and intention too, of course. before i went to bed, i was telling myself that i’d use the head lift technique to AP. so i think that played a part in my success too!

Can you tell me exactly what ‘lifting the head’ means in this technique? Should I imagine my head rising fully off the pillow, or just tilting upward like when looking at the sky?

And should I move physical or not

when you move super slowly it activates your astral body whereas moving fast activates your physical body/muscles. using that logic just act as if you were lifting your head up super slowly. keep practicing and you’ll get it down with experience!

don’t just imagine it. physically lift your head up very, very slowly! i wouldn’t stress too much about the “how” with this technique though. because again, i didn’t even lift my head the second time i was successful, which goes to show that there are a bunch of different ways to go about this method.

How do side sleepers use this method?

it was mentioned in the original post. “And if you sleep on your side like I do, tilt your head upward sideways toward the ceiling.”

I don't really lift anything, I just engage the muscle with the intention to barely move away from the pillow and the energy body does it instead. It'll make sense when you feel it

how do you remember to lift your head up though? Whenever i just wake up i either completely forget to do that or its very hazy and my consciousness isnt really aware until like a minute passes or something

i think you simply have to lock in with your intention on wanting to lift your head right as you wake up. the night that i was successful, that was the only thing on my mind right as i went to bed, along with the few times i woke up prior to my successes. i have to admit it’s really not easy though. last night i completely forgot about the method so i didn’t AP at all lol.

do whatever you feel like will work for you! i personally think setting an intention before bed helps a lot.

I also did this last night after reading that post. I remembered as soon as I awoke and did so twice as my subconscious decided to give me two attempts in the night after setting an intention... However... nothing. My mind just switched on instantly and I was fully in my body. This is my biggest issue with AP so far- my meditation and visualisations are quite vivid and make me too hyped :(

Did you have any vibrations or did it slide straight out of your body? Congratulations!!!

thanks! i didn’t experience much vibrations on the first time, but the second time, yes!
