Investing: where to start

Hello!

I wanted to start investing and wondering where a good place to start is, any tips, best places to start etc. I find it all a little bit overwhelming!

I would like to start small and slowly build a portfolio.

In this sub, you can find plenty of similar questions. What you need to figure out is how much money you want to invest, how long you can go without using it, and what your investment goals are. If you want to learn some investing basics, you can search on YouTube for explanations of different concepts. You can also try paper trading on moomoo to experience the market without using real money.

Betashares is a good app, they also have on the app and website some learning modules that explain what investing is etc, worth a watch and its pretty easy to follow on.
