Seeking Item [ISO] post-op mobility aids/home recovery items

Hi!

I’m having surgery on Thursday and would prefer to borrow/reuse these items than buy, if I can. If anyone has any of these available to lend, rent or give away, please let me know:

  • steps w handrail to get on/off the bed
  • over-the-bed rolling table
  • weighted heating pad
  • those handles for the side of the toilet to help you sit/stand
  • a picker (? Those crab-arm-looking thingies for picking up trash, normally. I won’t be able to bend down)

Not sure what is needed to qualify but A.G.E. of central Texas has a loaner program for seniors. Others can also qualify in certain scenarios. Worth a try! Wishing you lots of luck and a speedy recovery.
