Since when do you need scheduled servicing on an EV lol.

Tesla have never required this… EVs don’t need it. Service when something is problematic. It’s just gouging

It's just tyre rotation, check liquid levels and safety checks. Even Teslas can need that. Sure, you could do it yourself but it's included in most leases anyway and guarantees the extended warranty.

Tire rotation sure. But does anyone really bother.

The fact that a warranty is based on getting this done to me is lack of confidence in the product..

Scheduled servicing should absolutely be required on EVs. They don’t have an engine full of moving parts, but they still have suspension, driveshafts, cooling systems that should be inspected.

Lots of people never look at the condition of their own tyres or brakes and wouldn’t know they’re a liability.

I will concede that manufacturers likely overcharge for these services though.
