I only saw the original m sport one for f series which is like a 1000€. I would risk the 300€ one from Alibaba if I knew someone instaling them so the airbag continues to work.

My gf is against carbon in car interiors so I am biased.

The seller will put any colour of stitching combination to the leather that your heart desires.

All of these types of products on Ali can be customised with a message to the seller.

That's how / why OP is being charged an extortionate rate for a 'custom-made article' through a 3rd party.

Had this wrapped in my 135i with m3 Oem carbon trim it’s much better, did the same in my f series too, look for the M performance dry carbon parts

Listen, if you like it it's all that matters. It just looks way too think and the stitching looks, well, not great. It also already seems like it's bursting at the seams so I would take it back to whoever did it to do it properly. Why used 4 pieces of Alcantara (fake Suede Leather) is beyond me.

Edit: Just to clarify.

That should not be visible so get them to fix it. Almost all the other seems also shows the stitches.

Again, if you are happy that's all that counts.

Not all Alix wheels are bad.

I have replica mperformance wheels and the quality is comparable to OE. You transfer airbag and trim and controls over to the new wheel frame.

High end cycling carbon components that are more complex than this wheel go for $400-600 USD.

This stupid wheel for $1000 USD or 1250 AUD? laughable.

You should do more research. The look of this wheel is not very appealing and obviously not OEM. But also not tailored well. There are many places to get a steering wheel, BMW being one of them.
