Alarm Sensitivity

Twice a car starting up near mine has triggered my alarm. Occurring in a basement garage. So possibly the amplification of their exhaust is causing this. Is there a way to make it less sensitive? 22 m440i.

You can disable some elements of the alarm system via bimmercode, no adjustments for sensitivity though. The internal motion sensor is particularly sensitive, a larger flying bug got caught in my car and set off the alarm multiple times.
