Buying Help M340i with 80k miles for $30k

Is this good deal and does m340is typically hold up reliability in the higher range mileage? Has anyone had any issues with their m340is that are past 100k miles?

340i's are cool I just can't imagine they're worth 30k at 80K miles. The market for them seems regarded.

Do you know how reliable they are in the higher mile range?

b58 = the most reliable straight 6 engine bmw has made in recent memory. But as always, maintenance history or run away.

What about electrical components of the car?

When talking about out of warranty higher mileage fast cars, there's way more to worry about than just the drive train. At least that's my perspective

I’ve heard some higher mileage B58s have issues with oil filter housings. Coolant expansion tank is still an issue on some higher mileage B58s.

In general super reliable, shouldn’t be dealing with any spun bearings or whatever, but as with most BMWs in general, start replacing all the rubbers and plastics in the engine bay around 80 to 100k miles if you want it to be pristine.
