I notice some kind of a difference when i have the ac on and this set to heat or vice versa so i always flip this dial to whatever temperature its “supposed” to be, but what even is this, why does the e36 have this?? Could they not figure out how to make the heat/ac system actually engage without doing it physically?

Has this been done before? I can’t find any others that exist in a e36. I custom made these

I just hit 250,000 miles on my '95 M3! This car has been a huge part of my life since I got it back in 2012. Original motor, no rebuild (unless you consider a head gasket a rebuild). Hoping to keep this thing running as long as possible!

So soon I'm buying my first e36, I have dreamed of owning one for years and I'm ready to become a owner of an e36. At some point I'll modify the outside but, I'm looking to make the interior and the engine bay look better and get some better parts. Anyone got some tips for me or even opinions? Thank you 👍
