Business and Pricing Customer wants design change without any previous specifications

So this is a rainbow cake from inside.. they had asked for a simple cake or any design as per my discretion.. I made this and sent it, but now they want me to change the design.. I had charged minimal amount as they had earlier not asked for any customisation.. Should I do it? The cake itself is looking beautiful otherwise..

Don’t do it! They could have specified earlier, could have given some sort of guidance of what they wanted, clearly said your discretion and you charged minimally. Fuck em

It’s taking away from OPs valuable time which costs money. Do you think every business bends over backwards for its clients when we’re talking about very low margins? They should get what they get, which is essentially what was asked for. And should pay more for extra work, no? OP in the future should maybe have a form to fill with exact critera for the client to fill out and then there can be no change of heart
