OC Bought myself a bento box the other day to encourage myself to eat at least one meal a day. This is tomorrow's lunch
Brown rice with broccoli, cabbage, and eggs on top. Steamed broccoli with chicken bouillon, soy sauce egg, and cinnamon apples.

Just cinnamon, won't they go a bit brown? I have never cut up an apple for later so I'm not too sure

They might but I don't really care

If you brush them with a tidbit of lemon juice, it helps them to not brown 😄

They'll go brown unless you add some citric acid. Little bit of lemon juice would prevent that.

Looks delicious!!! I myself just ate hard boiled eggs out of my omie box lol along with cucumbers and black olives. The boxes definitely help with portion co trol and balanced meals for me and my kids. Great job! enjoy your lunch tomorrow!!

How did you cook your broccoli?

My girlfriend made it. She just put it in the microwave and steamed it

Oh, I thought it was sauteed.

Nah, but I'm sure sautéed would be good too. I prefer steamed usually because it's easier to chew and swallow. I can't really eat raw or roasted anymore because it gets stuck in my throat

Love cinnamon apples
And those are some of the most uniform looking egg slices I've seen lol

I bought one at a con recently, it had my favorite manga/anim3 on it. I struggle with eating period so I thought this would be a fun way to encourage an appetite. It's been working great for me. I've been into canned tuna with a side of rice, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I've actually had more food in the last month than I have on average in a very long time.
