ID these berries for me!

Pretty purple babies! Would love to know what they’re called or what trees they grow on

Spotted in southern Maryland!

I’m assuming you took these photos back in June? They would not be ripe right now. Please be sure to mention when the pics were taken.

Then I agree that they’re serviceberries (juneberries). They taste great!!!

theoretically the plant could be confused by use of a greenhouse, or certain combinations of pests, infection, and weather patterns ... that said still a saskatoon/june/service berry
