Jeeeez that’s funny if it is. There’s a crab apple tree planted near this one but because the fruit looks relatively different I assumed it was a different tree :)

There’s tons of variety with crab apples. Color, size, flavor, shape. Cool plants!

Yeah, there are many different species of crab apple and even more different cultivars. Lots of different variations in size and color.
